Searching for Primary Sources .....

When working on locomotive history you can use primary sources (official documents, original files etc.) or secondary sources (literature, articles from magazines etc.). Latter have the advantage to give all information in a very condensed way, but you never know where they are really coming from and if they are really true. Therefore primary sources - that are for me photocopys of original documents - most important to do correct research on the history of locomotives. And therefor I'm always searching for this kind of documents ....

Do you have a photocopy of an interesting locomotive stock list? Or papers on the repair of locomotives in a "royal prussian work shop"? Or on the withdrawal or sale of rolling stock? Then I would be happy to receive a mail from you! Maybe we can exchange some photocopys or we will find another solution for the copying costs. Nevertheless I would be very happy if it should be possible to fill some still existing gaps in this way. And to make it clear again: I'm not interested in copys of books which had been commercially available, only in photocopys of official single documents. And I'm also not willing to pay for expensive original documents - I'm interested in the content only .....
